Totteridge hosts the Salem Township Golf Outing

The Salem Township/ First Commonwealth Bank golf outing was held on July 13, 2009 at Totteridge Golf Club. The weather was perfect and the golfers took advantage of the course. The winning team consisted of Jay Juliane, Mark Lerch, Brian Cipolletti and Steve Beres who shot a 59 in a scamble format. That’s 13 under par!

Ex-Pirate pitchers Grant Jackson and Rick Reuschel attended the event and played beat the Pirate. They hit their shots first on a par 3 and then each player on the teams tried to beat it. When the golfers hit a better shot, Grant and Rick gave them an autographed baseball. The Pirates came courtesy of the Pirates Alumni which is an organization of ex-Pirate players who attend community functions in our area to gain interest and support in community events. We thank these two professional athletes who took the time to come and support our golf outing.
